Kirby Cove Overcast Day Marriage Proposal Photos – Eric and Joanne

Kirby Cove

Eric held his marriage proposal to Joanne at Kirby Cove, a small and secluded camping area and beach situated at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. Kirby Cove is approximately a two mile hike from Battery Spencer, one of the most popular panoramic locations to shoot San Francisco, with its 360 degree view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay. When asked for suggested locations to propose, I always remind people that although Battery Spencer has amazing views there is a high chance of other people being in the background. Eric agreed and already had Kirby Cove in mind, which also allowed  let him relax before the big moment.

I had arrived at Kirby Cove before their arrival and was happy to see we had the entire place to ourselves. This allowed Eric to not worry about anyone getting in their photos, which was the main reason for choosing this location for the proposal. Eric, timing everything perfectly, had Joanne’s sister and brother-in-law arrive shortly after he got down on his knee to offer their congratulations and well wishes, making it an intimate family affair to remember.
